Infant Lounger: The SnuggleMe Organic is the perfect spot for baby to lounge or sleep while monitored. We used this with J and now Quinn downstairs on the kitchen island before they could roll or move at all. Since we have two dogs we need a safe place they can be set down, do a diaper change, or take a monitored nap. They love it because it’s soft frame hugs them so they feel secure. It’s also super lightweight and easy to travel with! We bought a few different covers to switch out while washing. Wubbanub Pacifier: Before becoming a mom I always swore I wouldn’t use a pacifier (one of the many hilarious naive notions I had before actually being in it). Well, when your baby is exhausted and screaming and your nipples can’t possibly take another minute, a pacifier might just save your life. In our case it works, JJ took one from about 2 weeks to four months, and then he just quit on his own (super lucky, I know). Quinn has taken one since we brought her home and we’ll see what she decides to do, at this point we basically need it to survive. We love this one because it’s easy to find, and when she accidentally spits it out sometimes it will just sit close by and she can get it back in her mouth before a meltdown. Hatch Sound Machine: We have used this sound machine with both kids and swear by it! JJ has been the best sleeper, wherever we go we take the hatch and I swear he’s able to sleep so well because of the sound and dim light. It creates a great night time routine they can get used to and it drowns out any other noise that might wake them up. I also love the way you can change the color at a certain time so older kids know when they can come out of our room. We’ll see if JJ will actually go along with that. Solly Baby Wrap: If you buy anything it’s a wrap!! And this wrap is so good, especially for the tiny baby days. They want to be close to you, honestly as close as possible. This wrap can be tied in multiple different ways and it’s so cozy when they are too tiny for the big bulky carriers. Both my babies loved to sleep in these wraps! Comotomo Bottles: As a breastfeeding mom it’s hard to let go, but it’s so important to make sure your baby will take a bottle before it’s too late. We all need a little break sometimes. Both of my babies have loved these bottles, they are the most boob like and such good quality. JJ took to them no problem, but Quinn was a little more difficult. After messing with temperature and trying a few different times she loves them now. Love to Dream Arm Up Swaddle : First of all swaddling is a pain, and sometimes in the middle of the night the last thing you want to do is swaddle a baby. These came in clutch for us with the zipper. And more importantly JJ I as always escaping his swaddle he had to have at least one arm out but in the early days it would wake him up, we tried this and he slept so much better. Apparently this is a more natural sleeping position for babies. We did the same for Quinn and they have transition sacks where you can let one arm out at a time to get them used to it first. UPPABABY VISTA V2: Maybe my favorite baby purchase. We did not have this stroller with JJ and I am so sad we didn’t. The quality is amazing, it’s actually so easy to breakdown and build (I can do it without my husbands help so that’s a big deal). There are multiple attachments so both kids can ride. The bassinet is perfect to take with us so Quinn can sleep wherever we are. It has SPF protections, it’s vented for temperature control, and the padding is breathable. It’s a splurge but it’s so worth it! Coterie Diapers: I found these diapers when JJ was about four months old and I’ve never gone back. These diapers are so soft and cozy but are far more absorbent than the average diaper. All their materials are super sustainable, and free of any kind of harmful chemicals! The wipes really got me, they’re bigger than most wipes on the market and also super soft! CuboAi Baby Monitor: this thing is truly amazing, it’s such smart technology it makes me feel so much better now that we’ve moved Quinn to her own room. You can set a safety zone, get alerts when baby rolls over or something is covering their face. It also uses a sleep pad and Ai to monitor your babies motions so you can see that they’re breathing and doing ok! And on the cute side of things, it takes pictures of your baby for you! Xx, Bridget
